In his “Majles”، His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdul Aziz, Governor of the Eastern Province welcomed the participants in gulf engineering forum which was held in Dammam، wishing them success in their work, and hoping that their meetings and workshops would help the gulf community.

His Royal Highness continued during the event that he invited “Ertiqa” in: what the organization is doing to rehabilitate computers and distribute them to those in need, like charities, educational facilities and individuals is changing something important in our lives today. All kinds of devices are becoming a basic need not a luxury, and the development is making the new become old.

His Royal Highness added: we are a consumer society, but we have brothers, sisters, sons and daughters who needs the devices and we can provide, the major companies in Eastern Province has initiated to donate of all used devices and replace them with new for “Ertiqa”, which have rehabilitated the devices and distributed them to charities in different parts of the kingdom. We need to give our youngsters the ability that can reprogram these computers and smart machines to update them to new features.

His Royal Highness confirmed the importance of the blessing we have, how “Ertiqa” knew how to invest in it, and I am confident that in the future the operators of “Ertiqa” will find better uses of what they can take from these devices, I encourage them to continue in this path because it's the future and to keep up with technical development to serve the social community, we are a Muslim nation who value the every blessing, not only food blessing but everything that humans can use or benfit from is a blessing.

And His Royal Highness advised the companies and large facilities to consider “Ertiqa”for the devices that need an update.

Abdullah Al-Fouzan, The Chairman of “Ertiqa” clarified that “Ertiqa” is the only authorized organization By Microsoft in the Middle East and North Africa, and it's the only organization that specialise in computer rehabilitation in the Arab Nation, and with Allah blessing “Ertiqa” managed to collect 43.600 computers, 21,000 were rehabilitated and recycled 19,000 were computers, to clear the environment and community from 600 tons of electronic waste in the most professional way.

“Ertiqa” participated in 144 events to educate the generations, and 878 computers were distributed to charities, educational, and social facilities in different parts of the kingdom. In two years, the organization participated in 294 laboratories and training centres establishment, and technical network was equipped to 250 charities, and the devices distributed to 1096 beneficiary families.
